Announcing GET S**T Done University (GSDU)

First, thank you for reading my blogs so loyally over the years. I can’t even tell you how grateful I am. I’m very passionate about what I do. I love helping people achieve successes they never dreamed of, both personally and professionally. I’ve been blessed with mentors who have shared with me the secrets of success they learned from their mentors, who learned from theirs over hundreds, if not thousands, of years.

After years of preparation, I am ready to share GSDU with the world. GSDU is an online place for learning. We currently have nine courses available, with over fifty courses in the vault, soon to be released. I created GSDU to share that knowledge and to prove, if nothing else, that anyone can be successful, rich, and happy, however you define those things. But before I tell you more about GSDU, let me tell you why it exists.

I didn’t grow up in a world of business schools and venture capital. I come from a farm family in southern Kansas. Early mornings. Long days. Work that didn’t care how you felt. You either showed up, or you didn’t eat. That’s where I learned something most people never get taught in a classroom. Effort matters. Execution matters. Results matter.

Later, I spent nearly twenty years in broadcast radio. That’s where I learned how to sell. Not theory. Not scripts off the internet. I had a wife and two babies, and I got paid straight commission based on collections. If I didn’t sell, we didn’t eat. Real selling. Under pressure. When revenue had to show up.

In the late 1980s, I caught the entrepreneurial bug. I’ve been part of seventeen startups. Some were bootstrapped. Some were well-funded. Some we exited beautifully—some we didn’t. I’ve had deals go through at the last minute. I’ve watched others fall apart after months of work. I’ve seen leaders freeze. I’ve seen leaders rise.

And here’s what I discovered through all of it. The world is not short on information. It is drowning in it. But information does not build businesses. Information does not change families. Information does not create freedom. Application does.

After enough wins and enough scars, I became passionate about helping others succeed, using the experience I had accumulated. I became a master business coach. I have nearly 17,000 hours of logged coaching experience. I work with entrepreneurs, executives, owners, and leaders. I have worked with start-ups and billion-dollar corporations. I watched incredibly intelligent people struggle. Not because they lack knowledge. They lacked structure and clarity. They lacked a system that forced them to act.

I kept seeing the same pattern. Smart people are stuck. Hardworking people are overwhelmed. Capable people spinning their wheels. And that bothered me.

Because I knew from experience that the difference between stuck and thriving is rarely intelligence; it’s execution. That’s where GSDU was born.

Get Stuff Done University is not a joke. It’s not a gimmick. It’s philosophy. The world owes you nothing. Your degree doesn’t matter. How many books you’ve read doesn't matter. It doesn’t matter how many seminars you’ve attended or certifications you’ve earned. Nothing matters until you put the knowledge to work.

GSDU was built for regular people. Builders. Operators. Parents. Coaches. Sales professionals. Business owners. People who are willing to work. People who are willing to grow. People who are tired of consuming and ready to implement. This is not a theory in a three-ring binder. This is a real-world application forged in startups, sales floors, boardrooms, and failures.

One of the core beliefs behind GSDU is that what you learn should be usable immediately. If you watch a lesson today, you should be able to apply it tonight. If you go through a module this week, something in your business should shift. We are not interested in inspiration without action. We are interested in momentum.

You’ll hear me talk about things like leadership, sales, priority management, mindset, and positioning. Inside GSDU, you’ll find frameworks that were built in the field. You’ll find principles that have been pressure-tested across industries. You’ll find concepts like the Eight Emotional Triggers, which reveal how people make decisions before you ever open your mouth. You’ll find leadership models grounded in reality. But those are just vehicles. The real mission is transformation through application. Every successful person I’ve ever met, whether they knew it or not, has graduated from GSDU. Nothing in their life happened until they went to work and made things happen. They learned, they applied, they refined, then did it again. Continuous improvement. That cycle is what builds businesses. That cycle is what builds confidence and changes family trees.

Our goal is bold. We intend to reach one hundred million people. Not because we want attention. Because millions of hardworking people deserve access to practical, battle-tested principles that actually work. Not hype. Not shortcuts. Not fantasy entrepreneurship.

GSDU offers Real growth, Real discipline, Real clarity. But more important than any individual lesson is this: we expect you to use it. Use it with your team, in your business. Use it in your home. Use it in your conversations.

If you’re looking for entertainment, this probably isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a shortcut to success without effort, this definitely isn’t for you.

I’ve had success in my career. I’ve been blessed with incredible mentors. But the reason I built GSDU is simple. I’ve seen too many good people stay small because no one gave them a practical, disciplined path forward. Now we’re making it available.
