INTRODUCING GSDU

I’ve been working on a special project for nearly four years. It’s now ready for the world. Allow me to introduce you to GSDU, Get S**t Done University.

Before I tell you what GSDU is, let me tell you why it exists.

I didn’t grow up in a world of business schools and venture capital. I started as a farmer in southern Kansas. Early mornings. Long days. Work that had to get done, no matter how you felt. You either showed up or you didn’t eat.

That’s where I learned something most people never get taught in a classroom. Effort matters. Execution matters. Results matter.

Later, I spent nearly twenty years in broadcasting. I worked with major stations and advertising agencies worldwide. That’s where I learned how to sell. Not theory. Not scripts off the internet. Real selling. Under pressure. When revenue had to show up.

In the late 1980s, I caught an entrepreneurial bug. And I was hooked.

I’ve been part of seventeen startups. Some were bootstrapped. Some were well-funded. We had some beautiful exits, while some were hurt. I’ve had deals go through at the last minute. I’ve watched others fall apart after months of work. I’ve seen leaders freeze. I’ve seen leaders rise.

And here’s what I discovered through all of it. The world is not short on information. It is drowning in it. But information and knowledge do not build businesses. Information does not change families. Information does not create freedom. Application of acquired knowledge does.

At some point, after enough wins and enough scars, I became a master business coach with Brian Tracy’s FocalPoint organization. I started working with entrepreneurs, executives, owners, and leaders. I watched incredibly intelligent people struggle. Not because they lacked knowledge. Because they lacked structure, they lacked clarity. They lacked a system that forced action.

I kept seeing the same pattern. Good companies run by smart people were going out of business, and hardworking people were totally overwhelmed. Capable people spinning their wheels.

And that bothered me. Because I knew from experience that the difference between stuck and thriving is rarely intelligence, it’s execution.

That’s where GSDU was born. Get Stuff Done University is not a joke. It’s not a gimmick. It’s philosophy.

It doesn’t matter how prestigious your degree is. It doesn’t matter how many books you’ve read. It doesn’t matter how many seminars you’ve attended. Nothing works until you put all of your acquired knowledge to work, and the world owes you nothing. 

GSDU was built for regular people. Builders. Operators. Parents. Coaches. Sales professionals. Business owners. People who are willing to work. People who are willing to grow and continually learn. People who are tired of consuming and ready to implement.

This is not a theory in a three-ring binder. This is a real-world application forged by real-world experience in startups, sales floors, boardrooms, and failures. It’s real-world advice on the timeless elements for both personal and professional success. 

One of the core beliefs behind GSDU is that what you learn should be usable immediately. If you watch a GSDU lesson today, you should be able to apply what you learn tonight. If you go through a module this week, something in your business should shift.

We are not interested in inspiration without action. We are interested in momentum.

You’ll hear me talk about things like leadership, sales, priority management, mindset, and positioning. But those are just vehicles. The real mission is transformation through application.

The concept of GSDU has been around for millennia. Every successful person I’ve ever met, whether they knew it or not, has attended and graduated from their own GSDU. They learned something. They applied the knowledge, over and over. They refined it. They did it again. Continuous improvement. What the Japanese call Kaizen. That cycle is what builds businesses. That cycle is what builds confidence. That cycle is what changes family trees.

Our goal is bold. We intend to reach one hundred million people through the GSDU lessons. Not because we want attention. Because there are millions of hardworking people out there who deserve access to practical, battle-tested principles that actually work. Not hype. Not shortcuts. Not fantasy entrepreneurship. Real growth.  Real discipline. Real clarity.

Inside GSDU, you’ll find frameworks that were built in the field. You’ll find principles that have been pressure-tested across industries. I’ve had success in my career. I’ve been blessed in business. But the reason I built GSDU is simple. I’ve seen too many good people stay small because no one handed them a practical, disciplined path to move forward.
